Each Print Wisconsin acrylic print is ready to display with everything you need for a secure, polished installation. Whether you’re hanging in a home, office, or gallery, this step-by-step guide will walk you through the process.
What’s Included with Your Acrylic Print
- 4 aluminum standoffs (one for each corner)
- 4 mounting screws
- 4 drywall anchors
- Pre-drilled holes in each corner of the print
Tools You’ll Need
To install your acrylic print safely and accurately, you’ll need the following tools:
- Drill
- Drill bit (⅜” recommended for drywall anchors)
- Phillips screw bit
- Tape measure
- Level
- Pencil
- Hammer
Step-by-Step Installation Instructions
1. Choose the Perfect Spot
Use a tape measure and level to decide where you want the center of your print to sit. Mark the location lightly with a pencil.
2. Measure and Mark Your Mounting Points
Using your print as a template, mark where each corner hole will go. Double-check alignment using a level—especially for landscape prints.
3. Drill Holes
Drill pilot holes at each marked point. If you’re installing into drywall without studs, insert the provided drywall anchors using a hammer.
4. Install Standoff Bases
Screw the base of each standoff into the wall using a Phillips bit. Ensure each one is secure and flush.
5. Mount the Print
Align the print’s pre-drilled holes with the standoff bases. Screw the standoff caps through the front of the acrylic into the bases behind it.
6. Final Check
Use your level one last time to confirm everything is straight and evenly mounted. Step back and enjoy your new centerpiece!
Pro Tips
-
Keep standoffs loose during installation for easier adjustments.
-
For larger prints, a second set of hands can make alignment easier.
-
Always use a level—precision makes a huge difference in presentation.
-
Don’t overtighten the caps; just secure them snugly to avoid cracking the acrylic.
